We would DEFINITELY return!
Our stay was awesome! The rental was super clean with a well stocked kitchen. Being so close to the beach is also a plus! Located right beside the beach access is super handy, yet there is no extra noise due to the vegetation blocking any foot traffic. We had a question with the dryer and someone responded within ten minutes. As questions came up about general information on the island, the personnel at Pam Harrington were super helpful and kind. We were well taken care of!

staying at a Pam rental :4308 Windswept
Overall very nice place to stay with a few small glitches that were taken care of(needed pillowcases and kitchen towels and those were provided).

The unit was clean and the best part was the view of the beach from the porch/deck

There is one larger problem, however, cockroaches in both bedrooms. WE just crushed the two we caught, but the place ought to be sprayed before the next renter

Comfortable, well equipped villa
The villa was comfortable, nicely decorated, clean, and well equipped. The location is convenient and the ocean views wonderful. The management company was responsive to our few requests. The only downside is that the wifi is weak and not adequate to support streaming on the televisions, e.g., no Netflix.

Windswept Beachfront
Lovely stay. Unit was clean, but it needs a little upgrading: stains from leak in master ceiling, needs repainting - chips and patches that haven’t been touched up, showers are old. Kitchen needs a ladle and some dishcloths. We had to use dish towels. Thanks for your prompt responses to our questions and requests.

Excellent in all respects, from rental to gaining access to living there. The condo was well kept, with well-chosen furnishings. No recommendations whatsoever. We would be delighted to stay there again. NOTE--my address is in Vilas, NC, not Vials.

Perfect Beach Getaway
This villa is an end unit on the fourth floor with lovely ocean views from the living room and master bedroom. We were very pleased with the cleanliness and how well stocked the unit was. We were even able to watch deer from the balcony as they nibbled on the bushes below us. We would highly recommend this villa.

Great place and Location.
Beautiful oceanfront condo. It was very clean and nicely decorated. Kitchen stocked with everything needed for cooking. Was very relaxing being oceanfront. Only disappointment was the fault of Mother Nature. We came less than two weeks after Hurricane Irma. The beachfront took a beating and many boardwalks were unable to be used. We had one right next to our condo but couldn't use it. Had to go two boardwalks down-only a few minutes out of the way. Overall, an excellent vacation rental and would definitely stay again.

Family Annual Vacation on Kiawah
We have several family members in rentals vacationing with us. A few problems, elevator was not working. Then lightning hit our building. So elevator was out another few days. Our TV's and satellite were hit so we spent 2 days having a repair man in our unit. The pest control man came for treatment of unit. We had remodeling in the unit below us, starting each morning earlier than we would have liked awaken. Repair of wood on outside of building, which we read you had no control. The fire truck came on Sat. morning. We couldn't find anyone to speak with about what was happening with that. With all of this, we love the unit, area, everything about it. We appreciate the owners being so generous to let us enjoy ALL of this!! Thank you Pam Harrington for all your help it making Kiawah such a wonderful vacation area.

Wonderful Windswept
Our Thanksgiving week stay was fantastic, in spite of four days of rain. This was my 11th stay in a Windswept unit and my wife's first. We are planning a return to this unit (hopefully) in May, 2015 to celebrate our 3rd anniversary. This was my first Kiawah stay through Pam Harrington (had previously done a Seabrook stay through this group), and I'll never again book through Kiawah Resort after such a great experience.

Outstanding stay!
It was a great stay, as usual. The ocean view was fantastic and the apartment was in great shape. Pam Harrington's staff were outstanding, quick to answer questions and offer suggestions. They are true professionals.

Thanks so much! We'll be back in 2015.

Ideal condo and location
We have come back six years in a row to this same condo, so obviously we like it. My only complaint is that the owners have too much stored in the tenant's closets. This is not a problem for us since there are just the two of us, However, some year we might want to invite another couple to join us and then it would be a problem. They are storing tables and big boxes of filters in the closets.

4308 Windswept Villa
Our only disappointment with the property was that the solid wall on the balcony blocks the view of the ocean from the living room. Other than that, this was a very nice accommodation (although the Mr. Coffee coffee maker leaks from the bottom and should be replaced).

4308 Review
My family has been vacationing at Kiawah for over 20 years. We had a wonderful time at the Windswept 4308 and found the apartment to be very nice. The furniture and decor is not as modern as some of the other Windswept units that we have stayed in over the past few years, but it was acceptable. I would definitely suggest having more than one television however and figuring out how to put blinds over the skylight in the living room. With the glare you could not see the television unless it was dark outside. Overall however, it was a very pleasant stay.

Relaxing Vacation at 4308 Windswept Villa, Kiawah
Comfortable condo and great location. Second bedroom had a king bed, not the twin beds as we were expecting. Since there were only 3 of us, this was not a problem. Pam Harrington Rentals very nice to work with. All paperwork, and a key, are taken care of before your arrival, so you do not have to stand in a long line of vacationers waiting to check in.

Wonderful Condo
We have been staying in this condo for a number of years and really like it. Our only complaint is that they had new lamps this year and they were not good reading lamps. We do not watch TV except for the nightly news and prefer to read on vacation. Otherwise the place is perfect!

A lovely modern, well appointed villa with good ocean views. We would stay again. This was our first stay at Kiawah and we were very glad we were there out of peak-season as it must get incredibly crowded in the summer.

Kay with Pam Harringtom was very kind to my family. She went out of her way to accomodate my last minute trip. The unit had fantastic views and beach access. The Kiawah community was beautiful and friendly. I would trust Kay to help make your trip just as easy.

Thanks,

General condition was only fair.
Update to kitchen appreciated but even there, there were problems. For example, the "bar" overhang...just overhangs. For nearly $2,000 a week I expect more attention to items that should have been on a punch list.
Front screen door cut my leg it was so ragged and so sloppy. No screen door to "porch." Window in living room broken. It opens but has to be pushed closed from outside. All supplies/returns need cleaning. Rugs are old and frayed. Carpet in back bedroom was in awful shape.
Lots of junk in utility room including PAINT CANS that were rusted.Items also stored in master bedroom closet (a FootStool) that could have gone elsewhere.

Under bed had not been vacuumed in donkey's years. Bed was not bad, but very hard mattress.
However, we love the strand at Kiawah and we like how Windswept is situated and are likely to rent there again. However, I will question conditions more firmly next time. 4308 has a great, quiet location. Would like to see it cleaned, fixed, cleaned out, re-carpeted and then offered to me again!

Review of Windswept Villa 4308
My family and I loved the location of villa #4308(oceanfront)and the condition of the unit was fine. We felt that it was clean and inviting. We loved the updated kitchen, the style and cleanliness were definitely a plus.
It would've been more comfortable, however, if there was a kingsize bed in the main bedroom. The new furniture in the bedroom was lovely as well. We really enjoyed our stay at this villa and would probably stay there again.

Another wonderful Kiawah wee
We thoroghly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the newly renovated kitchen. The oceanfront condo was the end unit and so was especially quiet and very accessible to the beach. We had stayed in this unit two years ago and have been coming to Kiawah for about 20 years.
