Perfect location away from the busy part of the island with Very easy and fast access to the beach. Great morning and evening marsh views from the screened porch. We definitely plan to return.

Love this house for a getaway for 2! Privacy and proximity to beach is great. Plenty of room to invite friends last minute...which we did. They loved it too!

We chose this property largely because of it's low cost compared to some others, so we were blown away by the quality. The house is large, imposing with with it's marble stairs everwhere, and the interior is stately. While the kitchen is not as updated cosmetically as some houses, the appliances were all top quality and it had a massive fridge. Best, the screen porch opened onto a fabulous view of the marsh where wading birds moved about constantly. There was NO noise. The chairs on the porch were very comfortable so you could spend quite a bit of time out there. We noted that the surrounding neighborhood contained some of the most incredible houses we've seen on Kiawah, and the beach is a 5 min walk.

Great respite after airline issues. We decided to drive the 1000 miles, so lost a day. When we finally arrived at Oak Ct. it was so relaxing & magical!!

Our family spent a week at a beautiful house in Vandenhorst. The house is very well furnished with three en-suite bedrooms and a very large family area. The kitchen is large and well equipped. We spent most of our time on the porch overlooking the tidal creek.

The house is in a great location if you love being able to walk to the beach any time of day or night. The back porch has a gorgeous view of the marsh and we saw many birds from there, including 2 bald eagles. The house was very clean and the king bed very comfortable.

We enjoyed this well-maintained home that has both marsh views and a short walk to the beach. It felt very spacious for a 3 bedroom home. Especially enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen and screened porch. The master's walk in closet made a very comfortable bedroom for our two year old. A great value at Kiawah!

We and our daughter's family were guests at 308 Ocean Oaks in June of 2020. The house was well-suited for four adults and two small children and we love the location of the house (near the Ocean Course). The screen porch (which faces due west) was great for evening gatherings and sunset viewing. There is a stairwell in the house which we did not realize from the marketing materials, so renters with small children should take that into consideration. There is one small child gate in the laundry room but we improvised additional barriers to keep the one year old off the stairs.

Lovely three bedroom home with large screened in back porch located six minutes walk from quiet beach and ocean. The island is a forty minute drive from Charleston and offers 25 miles of bike trails and multiple lovely but expensive, $260, golf courses.

A wonderful experience having the saltwater marsh to view morning and evening after biking and beaching during the day. Thirty-five different birds were encountered along with deer, raccoons and a variety of lizards.

It was a beautiful house and so close to the beach. We enjoyed the screened in porch, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals.

The house was very comfortable with a wonderful screened in porch. The walk to the beach was pleasant and only took about 5 minutes. We stayed for 2 weeks and would rent the same property again in May. Our 2-1/2 year old grandson had a blast with plenty of open space in the house. We have dealt with the rental company on every trip to Kiawah and have never been disappointed. They are always responsive and very professional.

We had a wonderful week at 308 Ocean Oaks. The house was spacious and very clean. The furnishishibgs were nice and everything looking professionally decorated. The kitchen was spacious, though not terribly well stocked with dishes. We had enough to make our meals work. The only complaint I would have is the location. We had three small children who could ride their bikes across the street to the beach but we would never have made it on bikes to any of the parks. We spent more time in the car than I would have liked. The house itself was perfect, very nice being in a cup-de-sac for the kids.

Great location short walk to beach and close to the Ocean Course. Pretty views of the marsh from the back porch, and the home is more open/family friendly than the pictures reflect.

The screened porch was fabulous. We ate all of our meals out there and the view was amazing. The location of the house was ideally situated. There was both a beautiful view of the marsh and easy/close access to the beach. Of our past 10 vacations, this house was one of our favorites.
