Great location, Cozy Home
The house is in a great location - easy access to the beach and bike paths! The screened-in porch probably got the most use during our vacation! The home could have better sound insulation (you can hear conversations through the walls).

The Team at Pam Harrington was great, kept us informed of everything we needed to know leading up to vacation time, and checked in on us during the week to make sure things were great.

We wouldn't have returned for 6 consecutive years to 119 Surfscoter if we didn't love it. Everyone

A Christmas stay on Kiawah.
We came for a week during Christmas and had a great stay. We all enjoyed it. We were a block from the ocean and we were able to take our dig there everyday. The house was clean and had everything you could need. Definitely a house we would come back to.

Beach Escape 2020
This was our 35th year at Kiawah, and although this year was a little different, we appreciated the disinfectant and the sanitizing of the house.
Everyone at the beach was respectful of social distancing and each other, that was a bonus.
We were able to take out our favorite meals and had decent weather.

Great with the exception of new covid rules. 5pm check-in, 8 am check out a bit extreme. Maybe this will change when risks decline.

119 Surfscoter lane
We had a wonderful family vacation . We loved the house . It was clean and so peaceful . We would defiantly come again. My only complaint is we got an email regarding our bikes being outside. In the front . We just left them there initially because that is where the previous renters had theirs and also that was where ours were dropped off. We glad my out them in the back but noticed most of the houses in the neighbourhood had theirs out front all the time. It should just be noted when in the welcome packet that bikes should not be seen. Also not easy to put it in the back and was concerned about getting ticks . This is just a suggestion not really a complaint. My family really enjoyed them selves and defiantly want to comeback again.

Twentieth Time on Kiawah
We enjoyed our time at 119 Surfscoter Lane. We needed a little more room this time, and eight adults fit in easily. The furnishing are not luxurious, as some Kiawah properties can be, bu they certainly are comfortable and adequate. Surfscoter is a quick walk to the beach. This house features a cavernous main room, which includes the kitchen, dining area, and relaxing area. With the high, vaulted ceiling, this space feels a little like a chapel or meeting hall -- there's actually an echo! A spirited game of cards quickly raised the noise level to party status. We fixed Thanksgiving dinner here, and there is all the cookware and accessories you would need. We grilled turkey downstairs on a brand-new gas grill! Don't miss the shower under the house -- great for rinsing off the sand and salt after a beach visit. This house is a good choice on a great street.

Another wonderful vacation @ 119
We love this house! We weren't able to come down last year and so we were excited to come back to our favorite place. We were not disappointed! The house had a few updates which were very helpful, especially the new pots and pans in the kitchen. As always the convenience of renting through Pam was fabulous. We just can't say enough good things about our week. We had an opportunity to put Pam and her team to the test when the microwave stopped working, they were there within a couple of hours with a new microwave to use while they figured out what the owners wanted to do with the permanent one. All in all you couldn't rent from a nicer group and you won't find a better 4 bed 4 bath house at Kiawah.

Perfect Location!!!
I chose this location because of its proximity to the venue of my daughter's wedding. By looking at a map, it seemed to be a short ride via car. Little did I realize that the wedding venue was accessible via a bike path. It was less than a 1/4 mile walk so we just walked to the wedding!

Wonderful Vacation
Pam Harrington's property description was very accurate. The house was clean and well maintained. It accomidated our family well with plenty of living and kitchen seating. The customer service was excellent! From the time we booked and through out our stay. We would definitely recommend this property to others.
On Kiawah we enjoyed kayaking, riding our bikes and of course the beautiful beach!

Great Location!
119 Surfscoter is the perfect location, just a short walk to the beach which was nice with six kids and lots of gear. The open floor plan was great for keeping an eye on the kiddos. Only draw back was the double bed instead of queen sized in the guest room. My husband and opted for the two twins instead & they were extremely uncomfortable. The rest of the house was fantastic & we hope to rent it again next year.

Great location, clean well maintained property well suited to our needs, kitchen layout very convent. Location provides easy access by bike to Night Heron, Town Center, Straw Market, beach, marsh overlook and Beachwalker Park. Thought I would miss having a lagoon adjacent, but the deer in the woods made up for that. Lagoons were nearby and easily accessible for alligator sightings

Another wonderful stay!
We were so thrilled to stay here another year. Not only do we love this house but we are also delighted with the benefits of renting through Pam Harrington. It is so fantastic to be able to bypass the dreaded check in procedure because Pam Harrington makes it possible for you to come straight to the house. In years past we have spent as much as an hour waiting in line to get keys etc, Pam helps you to avoid this delay when you rent this home. This house is by far the best 4 bed 4 bath that we have found on the entire Island. We cannot wait for next year and another great vacation here at Kiawah in this house!

Fun in the Sun
We had an absolutely wonderful time at Kiawah Island. 119 Surfscoter was the perfect house, location and price for us (4 adults and 6 young adults). We were never cramped...loved the screen porch, big open kitchen, dining and living room, comfy chairs, couches and beds, big bedrooms, excellent showers...loved the outdoor shower, perfectly supplied kitchen, etc. etc. The greatest thing was the house had an empty wooded lot right next to the screen porch. I would highly recommend this house to anyone. We absolutely loved everything about it.

Kiawah Retreat
This lovely home lived up to its online billing. Our group of 10 was very comfortable during our 5-day stay, with lots of room to be together in the kitchen/family room and adjoining screened-in porch, but also to retreat into the comfortable bedrooms for downtime. The vegetation around the home is lovely, the location affords easy access to island highlights such as the beach, nature/bike trails and the tennis centers (can't speak for the golf as we are not golfers). Management was great in preparing for our stay as well as in resolving a few very minor glitches while we were there. All in all a great place to stay.

Great times
The place was great. It had everything the description said it would and looked like all the pics I saw online.
However, their ping pong table is old/worn down with a broken net. They did have paddles/ping pong balls though. Plus, they had beach chairs, fishing nets, and sand toys--which would've been nice to know before coming there.
All in all, great times were had by everyone and I'd go back to that property again.

119 Surfscoter Lane - October 16,2010
Overall at this property, the stay was pleasant. For winter months, and rainy days a bigger TV in the living room would be a bonus. However this location was very nice. 121 Surfscoter Lane, did not have warm/hot water; so the guests had to shwer at home. The location had a mildew stinch, but the layout was what we needed, 1st floor for older siblings and close to the beach. Thanks for a memory of a lifetime.

We enjoyed our stay in Kiawah this year. Our location was great and we liked the open area in the living room , kitchen. Also the screened porch was large and created a fun area to socialize in the late evenings.
The home needed to be better supplied with kitchen utensils and baking pans (like cookie sheets and larger baking pans) Also, steak knives, enough to support the house of 8-people.

Great Vacationing Made Easy
We rented the home on Kiawah on the recommendation of friends who have been there many times. They referred us to Pam Harrington. Apart from the length of the drive (>700 miles!), the vacation was perfect. The home is well equipped with everything but beach towels (although if you like to cook and will be cooking much, bring your own good kitchen knives). It was clean, with more than adequate linens and bath towels and all supplies from detergent to paper products. Much easier than Outer Banks rentals where you have to bring everything. The beach is great, the water was warm, the Fresh Fields shopping center at the entrance to the island has a good supermarket and many good shops. My wife was concerned that there wouldn't be enough to do; this was not an issue. The kids did a nature program, we rode bikes, we went into Charleston a couple of times (only a 30 minute drive). We could have stayed another week.

All in all, I would definitely consider this again for a summer beach vacation.
