Great Location!!
Our family travels to Kiawah each year and have stayed in several condominiums. We absolutely loved the location of this condo!! Spending evenings watching golfers right outside of the deck was wonderful. The owners provided many kitchen amenities. We loved the opportunity to walk to the Sanctuary for ice cream and ride bikes to play tennis!! Definitely a must stay!!

4965 Turtle Point
Wow!! I cannot say more about the location of this condo! When walking to the beach, we only had to go over a bridge and a golf course green (looking for the alligators along the way was fun)! This condo is well decorated and has many amenities.

Awesome place and location
The condo sits on the 17th green of Turtle Point golf course and a short walk across the fairway and a bridge gets you to the beach. (Look for alligators in the pond) Maybe a 5 minute walk. The unit is tastefully decorated with neutral colors and furniture. Beds are comfy. It was clean and well kept. Had some minor issues but nothing worth complaining about. The unit is close to the Village Market and Sanctuary Hotel. Great place to go get a drink on the lawn in the evening. We sat on the deck and watched the golfers pass while enjoying our afternoons. The beaches at Kiawah cannot be beat. They are large and uncrowded, even during the peak season. We have stayed here and a few other places on the Island. We definitely prefer the Turtle Point area. I recommend renting bikes. The island is very bike friendly with paths all over the island. It is a family oriented, quiet and private vacation island with lots of things to do. The Golf courses are legendary. The tennis center is a 5 minute walk as well. I do recommend this unit.

Wonderful week
Great unit, with spacious deck. On ground floor but very little noise from above.

Just par for the course
This golf course view villa was somewhat disappointing. Although check-in time is 4pm, the villa had not been cleaned at all when we entered around 4:30. The rental agency was responsive when we called and sent a crew within 30 minutes to clean the villa and change the linens but it was not a great way to start the vacation. The villa has two comfortable bedrooms and a spacious kitchen, which we liked. We also enjoyed the outdoor deck. It's a tranquil 8 minute walk to the beach, which we loved. The wicker furniture in the living room is outdated and uncomfortable and the TV was at floor level, which was odd. We had two maintenance problems that the rental agency addressed quickly - the microwave oven did not work and the handle to the patio sliding door broke. They also sent someone to spray the kitchen when we spotted some palmetto bugs, which are common on Kiawah. Overall, the price for the villa was reasonable considering how expensive Kiawah can be if you rent directly through the resort, but this was our second and last stay in this villa. It would've been nice if the rental agency had offered us some small token of appreciation for the problems that we experienced. If you're on a budget, this villa is OK but there is room for improvement.

Easter week
Condo was clean. Condo needs a variety of repairs. Doors and windows didn’t work properly (sliding glass door to patio, master bathroom door, etc). Kitchen floor had soft spots where floor had sunk. AC didn’t work at all. Property needs TLC. Wouldn’t stay there again if another option was available. View of golf course was nice as was location overall.

Kiawah is for all seasons
Despite the cooler weather, we thoroughly enjoyed early spring on Kiawah. Walks on the beach or paths can be wonderful during all the seasons. Our property was well kept and a great location. It was convenient to the beach and to the market and the Sanctuary. Unfortunately the furnace broke during the night, but Harrington had someone out the next morning and it was repaired on the spot.
