October is a beautiful time of year to enjoy Kiawah. The views from our condo were exquisite and everything about our stay was great. The condo was comfortable, clean, and met all our needs.

PERFECT BEACH LOCATION Every window presents you a scenic beach and ocean view! Sit on the balcony, enjoying the wonderful ocean breeze—-morning coffee as you watch the sunrise and at evening as you consider the star-filled heavens overhead from this top-floor unit. As you exit the first floor elevator, you are just footsteps from a private boardwalk to the beach. We love this West Beach location for an easy on/off island trip to/from Freshfields…or a trip into Charleston. The unit was very clean and well stocked for our stay. The laundry facility just down the hall was so convenient…and the appliances were new. We also enjoyed using the roof-top deck located just steps outside our door. We’ve already booked this unit for a return trip this Fall. The entire rental process with Kiawah Exclusives is flawless!

Nice place w/ view. Deck faces east so an extra umbrella we employed in the provided table and chairs made it much nicer in the morning otherwise the heat was brutal

PROS

Location was perfect.
Easy to get to and from beach and to condo from parking lot.
Condo was very clean.
Perfect for a couple.
Loved having the balcony accessible from both the bedroom and the living room.
Bed was extremely comfortable.
View was perfect.
Some updates have been made but it would have been a perfect retreat if some remodeling was done in the way of furniture and floor updates to match throughout.

CONS

We needed more wash cloths for a five night stay.
It was difficult to get comfortable and cozy in the living room. Couch wasn’t really comfortable or inviting. Maybe because it is a sofa couch? It wasn’t awful but just not great for $$ of condo.
Patio furniture could have been more comfortable. But, I also totally get why they have what they do being a rental.
Needs a recycling container in the condo.

All in all, it was a good visit for us.

We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and the view of the ocean. The unit is well located, convenient to Freshfields Village and to Mingo Point for kayaking. The decor is somewhat dated but the furnishings were comfortable.

The picture on the listing is accurate, and exactly what my fiance and I were looking for. A beautiful beach view, sleeping with the sliding door open to hear the surf, and sunrise right outside our window. Beach access was easy, both on foot and on bike. Kiawah offers the things we wanted: golf, beach, good food and drinks. And the property was just right. We will be back, and will probably book the same address.
PHE makes it all easy. Pre arrival information was thorough and accurate, and made our stay almost effortless... we only had to unpack and pack! They checked in with us once to make sure everything was OK. Thank you PHE for a wonderful engagement experience.

Haven’t been to Kiawah since the 90’s. We had our honeymoon in Kiawah and it holds a special place in our hearts. The accommodations were wonderful. It was spotless and a perfect fit for my husband and me. The view...oh my goodness...beautiful!!

This one bedroom condo was great! It’s perfect for a couple and the location is fabulous. It is very nicely maintained and in very good condition. The kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed morning coffee on the terrace overlooking the ocean. We also spent several evenings having wine and cheese on the terrace. It’s a quick run to the amenities of Freshfields. I will happily rent this vacation home again when my husband and I return to Kiawah.

We travel frequently and this is one of our favorite destinations. In fact we have been coming back to this same villa for 10 years. The ocean is mild and there are many great bike trails filled with nature from painted buntings to alligators and dolphins. Culinary experiences are beyond description - something for everyone. A fantastic place to relax and enjoy.

The condo was the perfect location for a short stay at the beach. The view of the beach/ocean from both rooms was great. Plenty of room for two people. Might be tight for more. Kitchen had everything we needed. They even provided beach chairs! We will be coming back, for sure!

Great venue for fresh air and the ocean. Cycling on the beach is so invigorating, and the bike paths are first rate. We took two kayak excursions in the salt marshes, and learned a bunch about that ecology.
Everyone got the memo on courtesy and friendliness from the front gate to the condo maintenance staff.

We have been coming to Kiawah for over ten years and this is our second stay at 2476 Shipwatch. We have returned to this unit because it is our favorite. We love the ocean views and especially the "pelican parade". It is very comfortable, very well maintained and exceptionally clean. We will be coming back for another stay!

My son and I had a wonderful time! I haven't been to Kiawah in about 7 years, and it has gotten better. I golfed, we rode bikes, went to the beach, ate lots of good seafood, shopped and just had a wonderful time. Love Freshfields shopping center. There were lots of good restaurants and it is so convenient.
