Clean condo, nicely decorated…would have preferred standard chairs instead of all high top as in dining room and balcony. Otherwise it’s a wonderful vacation spot and all our needs were answered.

Kiawah Exclusives made check in easy and had great communication. This was the first time we didn’t use the resort or a standard hotel and they made it easy. The condo was clean and the kitchen nicely appointed. Great location for my work conference. Easy walk to the beach. Condo had books, etc for our use and a good cable package.

This was the first time we stayed on Kiawah with an ocean view. We loved: hearing the ocean at night, sitting on the balcony and seeing the ocean, easy access to the ocean from the property and so much more. We would recommend Kiawah Exclusives to anyone! Thank you!

We have stayed in this complex (different units) before. Pluses: West Beach location. Easy close beach access.This unit has partial ocean view from end of living room and adjacent balcony.Unit is a bit cluttered, however, I applaud the owners decorative acumen as everything is interesting and even educational.Good beds and pillows.Cons:Was fine for two of us, however would be a bit small for party of fourBathrooms were fine, however a bit dated.In this building, there is no washer and dryer in the unit. You do have availability on each floor however this can be a bit of a hassle.Supplies were a bit spotty, ( no tissues in empty Kleenex box holders, no soap or shampoo in one of the baths), fridge light nonfunctional.Early check out 10am - no delay allowed.I’m just being honest/critical. The fact is you will have a wonderful time at Kiawah Island if you are lucky enough to have this or a similar unit. Communication with managing group was excellent. We had a great time and would rent again.

We had a great stay at Shipwatch. The beach is a very short walk and it is beautiful. We took the long hike to the mouth of the kiawah river to see the dolphins strand feed which was well worth it. Would definitely recommend Shipwatch.

Great location! Partial beach view from balcony are great. The kitchen drawer was broken though and presented a major hazard everyone we wanted a fork. It definitely needs to be repaired!

My son and daughter and I enjoyed a fabulous week at this property. It is so excellent staying on the ocean being able to be yards from the beach. The weather was a little cool, but we enjoyed the day. We enjoyed the cycling taking walks on the beach, and also all the other amenities that are offered on Kiawah Island. Would like to come back in the future.

We had a wonderful time. Property was clean and location was great. It was a short few minute walk to the beach. The beds were comfy. I will say that the property was lacking a few start items that are typically provided. There was no hand soap in either bathroom, there was no sponge or item to clean dishes, the dish soap was extremely watered down, and there was not an adequate amount of dish washer detergent. These were all very, very minor inconveniences and did not affect the quality of our trip. I would absolutely stay here again.

Easy and very close beach access. Place was clean and kitchen well stocked with utensils, plates, etc. Close to the grocery store, restaurants, bike rental and pool. Would definitely recommend it!

We enjoyed a very relaxing stay at Kiawah Island. The villa was nice and comfortable. Just missed the dolphins "strand feeding" one day in the waters between Kiawah and Seabrook. Really enjoy the undeveloped portion of beach past the state park.

We rented this unit to spend a long weekend with our son who was on a “fall break” from graduate school. We enjoyed our stay and found the condo to be clean and nicely furnished. We had ample room as it was just the three of us staying in the 2 bedroom 2 bath unit.

This unit is very clean. We have stayed here each year for several years and have not been disappointed. The new boardwalk gate is a great idea for controlling beach access and the increasing number of people as a result of all the new building on the island.

The island is always relaxing but being this close to the beach made it even better. I just hope all the development doesn’t take away from the relaxing environment. We first came to Island in 1984 and this was our 9 vacation so we have seen the growth. We will continue to visit as long as the relaxing environment is maintained.

Everything was perfect. Keys easy to get and multiple copies for guests. Beautiful place with ocean view for both bedrooms. Great location for both sides of island. Very informative info upon arrival

Our rental on Kiawah was exactly what we wanted. A family of four, our teenagers had their own room and bathroom. Steps from the beach and walking paths. Would stay there again.

We were able to rent Shipwatch Villa for the weekend. We love Kiawah and are familiar with the area so this was a lovely get-away to sample spring a little early from Ohio. The property provided beach chairs and we went out to dinner every night for our favorite restaurants. There is great connectivity for wifi and computers and there are televisions in all 3 room spaces. Lovely ambiance and clean and safe. Much nicer than a hotel and just an elevator ride to the walk to the beach. Sigh, bliss, bliss

I was especially happy with the quantity and quality of both the bathrooms and kitchen. All the appliances were in great condition, the water pressure in the showers was very good, the beds were comfortable, and the location was perfect! The entire property is well-maintained and beautifully landscaped. Thank you for a terrific week!

The condo was in great shape and pleasantly decorated for a beach-side rental. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied with more than adequate utensils. The only things lacking were wi-fi, and we would have liked a more comfortable sofa in the living room. The staff went beyond our expectations, particularly in finding and returning a swimsuit that had been left behind. The option of having our beach chairs and umbrella set up for us each day was really wonderful. The island views from the condo were also quite beautiful, as well as the whole island and the beach with great ocean swimming.

My family and I have had the great privilege to visit Kiawah for off and on 30 years. We began when our children were 10 and 15 years old. They were able to be with me this time at the ages of 46 and 38 along with my 12 year old granddaughter. Needless to say there were many memories relived and trail rebiked. Daddy taught daughter to body surf as his Daddy had him. This is our third stay at Shipwatch and is our favorite. The property is always in top condition and the condos are alway perfect.

We do appreciate all that the island has to offer and do hope to be able to return again soon.

Unfortunately we spent a lot more time indoors than planned due to poor weather. Thank goodness it was a nice, clean, well-stocked comfortable place and the Olympics were on! We're hoping for better weather next time.
