Thanksgiving in Kiawah
We're frequent Kiawah renters booking with Pam Harrington for many years. We have booked in several condos in the Windswept Villas for the past Thanksgiving Holidays. We received kind and considerate service from the Pam Herrington staff--even calling in advance to see if we needed a pan to roast a turkey for Thanksgiving dinner. We've stayed in 5110 before; it is an attractive condo with great views and beach access. It was stocked with ample supplies to make our stay comfortable. The only problem we had was not with the rental but the owner and her family above us. Small children ran up and down from 6:30 am to 11:30 pm. We will rent from Pam again, but this time in a top floor condo. We'd like to suggest that owner to provide a guide for operating the living room cable/TV [bedroom TV worked easily] as well as cable channels. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We will be using you as our rental agent again. Thank you.

October at Kiawah
Rental was a great location with good ocean view. Unit was a little dated, not quite as nice as other condos we have rented at Windswept. Everything considered it was a good place to stay.

It was nice, the condo decor was dated. It was clean and comfortable though. We LOVED the views and being oceanfront, that was amazing. The cable was having problems the first couple nights and the sliding glass door needed some WD40. It was very hard to move back and forth. All and all it was ok.

Great Kiawah Vacation!
We were very happy with our rental unit on Kiawah Island. Pam Herrington Exclusives made the entire rental process very easy from booking to check-in to check-out. The property had a spectacular view of the ocean and was convenient to many other parts of the island. The unit could use a little more updating but was clean with a very good floor plan. We would definitely consider staying in Windswept Villas again.

Amazing Christmas week get a way in Kiawah
This is our second visit to Kiawah Island. We came with our 2 college age children. 5110 Windswept was a great location. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. Very clean upon arrival. Pam Harrington arranged for someone to shop for food for us and put it away in our unit before our arrival since we were arriving on Christmas Day and everything would be closed. Such a great feature. Only a few complaints. The windows in the guest room and kitchen are not sealed properly and cold air comes in. We were there in the winter and it was very cold. This seems like an easy fix. Also, the dryer is very old and takes several rounds to dry. Maybe invest in a new washer/dryer. Overall, I would recommend this unit and building. Great place to spend a week.

5110 Windswept on Kiawah
We have been coming to Kiawah every summer for over 15 years. Each time we have stayed at a Pam Harrington property and they are always fabulous. We have stayed in this unit numerous times and love the location. Plan to come back in 2021!

Stunning ocean front views. Unit was very clean and very well maintained. So convenient to food and the grocery store and within 45 minutes of anywhere in Charleston. Could not have asked for a better stay. Staff at PH second to none: those ladies are AWESOME!!! Thank you for an unbeatable vacation.

Oceanfront Thanksgiving
The condo was nicely decorated, comfortable, with a beautiful view of the ocean. My only complaints are that several lamps didn't have light bulbs and none were supplied in the condo and that, in the master bedroom, several electrical wall outlets [on either side of the bed] had only the top outlet working--so you couldn't operate two fixtures. I could either use my CPAP breathing machine or the table lamp; it was the same on the other side of the bed. Given the limited cable service, it would have been helpful to have a channel guide for the unit's televisions. Also, in most places we've rented from PHE, the owner provides a drawer with helpful information [restaurants, sightseeing, etc.]; there were four flyers in 5110. We received more information in our PHE welcome packet. The lockbox is a timesaver and makes it easy to obtain the unit's key. All-in-all, we very much enjoyed our stay and the magnificent view.

Our Vacation at 5110 Windswept
We enjoyed this unit very much. We do have some suggestions. Add a light kit to the ceiling fan in bedroom #2. The room is much too dark. Entry door needs weather stripping badly. When the temperature turned cold a lot of cold air came in, and water leaked around the door when pressure washing was done. Unit needs more cups, knives, and spoons (table wear). Matching is not necessary, just more. We appreciated the new teapot, their being enough basic supplies (soap, bathroom tissue, laundry supplies). We hope to see you again next fall.

This vacation rental was incredible and affordable. The layout of the villa was very nice to afford privacy between parents and the children. The location was close to the beach, and the view from the second floor deck was unbelievable. I would definitely refer people to this location, and my family plans on booking here again.

Very nice stay at Kiawah, and a condo with a view
This was everything we expected from the pictures and reviews. We wanted an updated unit on the ocean, and we were not disappointed. No disappointments, however, it might be good to warn renters about the motorized dryer vent. It is unbelievably loud. A nice two-week stay, great location, fantastic view of the surf, great watching the tides go in and out. Highly recommend this condo rental.

GORGEOUS beach! Porch with fantastic view of beach, which was a biggie for me. Proximity to beach magnificent. Condo well cared for and equipped with necessities. VERY clean, and well stocked with towels, directions, and literature. So taken by the area, and condo, that we looked at properties with a realtor. No complaints and would recommend to all beach lovers. NO complaints!

We loved the unit and it had everything we needed. The only drawback is the kitchen arrangement... it is not designed to have several poeple in it but it was perfect for 2 people. It was spotless, good quality sheets and towels, great wifi connection. The realty called to check if everything was ok. They are great to deal with!

5110 Windswept Vacation 5/11 - 5/17
Very enjoyable. Condo was well laid out, spacious, good amenities, tastefully decorated, well maintained. Wish we had access to pool, although beach and ocean were gorgeous. Pam Harrington called 5/12 to inquire if we were satisfied and contacted us 5/16 to review checkout process (both times very friendly and helpful). Recommend Pam Harrington and this unit.

Outstanding view and location
Overall very good. Superior view on the oceanfront. Unit was very clean and, for the most part well equipped. Very comfortable master bedroom with good, firm mattress.
On the downside, the unit above apparently has all tile floors, as this one does, so if you have someone above you with leather heels who moves around a lot, it will be noisy.
Weather was great while we were there, so there wasn't a need to spend much time watching tv. This was good, because the main tv in the living room was basically unwatchable due to picture break-up issues and the tv in the guest room for some reason only picked up about one out of four channels that were available in the master bedroom. No channel guides were available and there were no instructions as to how to operate the system.
The only other issue with the condo itself was that the cooking utensils were a bit lacking.
The location of the unit could hardly be beat. Being almost next door to the Sanctuary, it is walking distance to any of the restaurants and the bike rental there.
The beach is excellent and walkable, even at high tide. Overall, we were happy with our choice.

Wonderful, restful week!
I hesitate to recommend this condominium highly because I wouldn't hesitate to return next year! The view is lovely and the deck, while smaller than the older windswept condos, is adequate for a family of 4 with young children. The master bed and bath was luxurious and while the second bedroom was dark (the window looks out into a "skylight shaft") it was fine for children who spent most of the time on the beach. On the whole, the apartment was very clean (a few areas were missed, but nothing that interfered with our stay). The internet was out during our stay, but as soon as we reported it to Pam Harrington's staff, we had someone out to diagnose the problem within hours. We didn't really need it, just thought they'd like to know. We've been to the older condos or houses at Kiawah numerous times over the years, but were hoping the "highrises" would still feel like Kiawah. It was actually even better with young children-- no stairs (unless you want to!) and still such beautiful views and great access to the beach. I want to go back!
